FOLLOWING the recent reporting of the planning issues at Grundy Fold Farm it has become apparent that there is a widespread misunderstanding that we are the architects for the project. This is untrue.

We successfully obtained planning permission for a re-development of the site on behalf of the previous owners. When Sparkle Development purchased the site they instructed their architects, Good and Tillotson to prepare construction drawings and obtain Building Regulations Approval.

When the present circumstances emerged Sparkle Developments asked us to submit a retrospective planning application for the as-built scheme on their behalf simply because we had an established dialogue with the planning authority on the site.

Therefore we acted merely and fundamentally as agents for this application, not architects.

I would be grateful therefore if you could kindly and expansively report the fact that we were not the architects for this project and have had no involvement with the development as built.

This will certainly help to correct matters since we are experiencing unpleasant references to our involvement from all aspects of society.
