HOLIDAYMAKERS now have to be especially careful choosing a company to look after their car while they are away.
It seems you can’t open a newspaper without reading of some poor souls who’ve returned to find their car dumped in an insecure field and covered in mud or, worse, badly damaged by someone taking it out and being involved in a collision.
The only way forward is to go with long-established companies whose credentials you have already checked and preferably which is recommended to you.
Sadly, this is not an exact science and can blight that warm holiday glow like nothing else.
