I SYMPATHISE entirely with Ian Holland (Letters, December 2), but the fact is that pavement parking has become the norm.
Take a stroll through Egerton, for example, then tell me otherwise.
Motorists are the majority, pedestrians are ignored.
In the far distant future, Bolton may catch up with London, where motorists must not park on the pavement, but till then it's the old story: four wheels good, two legs bad.
