Pigeons do not carry fatal diseases

IN response to V Slater, Bromley Cross, and their concern as to the threat from the feral pigeon with all its diseases (some fatal) that it can impose on mankind. I have to report there are no recorded deaths past or present that have been caused by the feral pigeon. They are not guilty.
You have a greater chance of meeting your maker from disease caused by unemptied litter bins, uncollected waste, fly tipping, standing on a hypodermic needle in Queens Park or horrendous animal husbandry that we allow domestic fowl to be subjected to.
The feral pigeon is the bottom of the list and should never reach the top. And not forgetting what dad would say while out walking, if a bird, including feral pigeons, scored a bullseye on you, it was lucky. I dread the thought, however, would it still be lucky if cows could fly.
