On April 20, library campaigners will be lobbying Bolton Council to highlight the threat to our libraries. In the runup to the local elections on Thursday May 5, it is important to remind Bolton’s councillors how much people value their local library services.
Nine branch libraries are under threat as a direct result of funding cuts by central government and a local review of library services. We urge readers to come and join us in fighting to save all our libraries. The lobby on Wednesday, April 20, starts at 6pm.
