Public sector will not just lay down

I MUST protest at the letter on November 11 criticising the headteachers’ support for their staff. No-one enters public service for the money. If your sole purpose in working is making money, you would do a lot better in morally dubious occupations such as arms production or high finance. The issue is that our government is abusing the dedication and care of the public sector workforce, whom they expect to just “lay down and die” under the steamroller of cuts, without speaking up for themselves.
