THE idea of “shopping” someone to police is often frowned upon for some inexplicable reason.
Misplaced community loyalty means villains go undetected in a warped code of silence, leaving them to damage lives.
Over Christmas and New Year particularly, this is a mistake. When it comes to those who drink and drive, we are allowing time-bombs in the community – and you and those you love are just as at risk as anyone else.
