Young people’s actions show us all the right way
THE two recent cases of young women as positive role models is the best possible answer to all the critics who classify most youngsters as irresponsible.
First, 23 year-old Sammie Welch received an unexpected gift and praise from a stranger on a train for how well she coped with her lively three year-old son, Rylan, on a long journey.
And then 21 year-old beautician Katie Cutler launched an online fundraiser for disabled pensioner Alan Barnes after he was injured by a mugger.
Both instances gladden the heart and, hopefully, might make us all think twice about stereotyping all young adults.
