CONFESSING to sleeping with 250 women was no surprise in Sir Tom Jones’ new autobiography.
What was unusual in Over the Top and Back Again was not mentioning his highly-publicised affairs with Mary Wilson of the Supremes and Miss World Marjorie Wallace, and his having a love-child.
Disappointingly, he dismisses his long-suffering wife Linda as having “lost her spark”, accusing her of letting herself go as she battled depression.
There’s no denying Sir Tom is a fabulous entertainer with a remarkable career. Unfortunately, this book – far from adding to his reputation - may make some established fans question their loyalty.
