THERE is something very endearing about singer Adele that transcends that remarkable voice and its power.

She seems to be everywhere currently as she returns to the entertainment scene with a massive hit song linked to the latest Bond film, and renewed confidence.

She’s a mum now and, although she’s said to be worth £50 million, she retains an ordinary charm which allows people to connect with her.

She’s also not a stick-thin star, someone who always exhibits a disciplined and toned body.

In fact, she’s much more like the rest of us who struggle with our weight, sometimes losing a few pounds and going to the gym regularly, but then falling off the wagon and succumbing to cake and wine.

On The Graham Norton Show, she showed herself to have a raucous sense of humour – she’s loud, laughs a lot and loves life.

Celebrities are often emotional chest-beaters, vying for public sympathy and support. Adele always looks like she shrugs off life’s problems, and just gets on with it.
