I WAS lucky enough recently to be invited along to an open meeting of Bolton Soroptimists.
If you don’t know them, this is a long-established group of local women – all part of a national and international organisation – which works to empower other females in practical ways. They not only support projects locally and around the country but also in places like India; the Bolton group sponsors five schoolgirls in Kathmandu.
It’s a first-class organisation with enjoyable regular meetings and a real purpose about it for members. If you like the sound of this, find out more by calling 07896 140883.
