WE generally don’t like talking about organ transplants because it reminds us that we’ll all die one day.
However, simply acknowledging that when we do go we want to leave our organs to others can make a huge difference to many people’s lives. These are the hundreds of poorly individuals, like my young friend, a local mum desperate for a lung transplant, who urgently need help. It’s National Organ Donation Week so a good time to act.
Just go to www.organdonation.nhs.uk to register and to leave the most amazing legacy.
