IT was a privilege and a pleasure to witness the vast array of local businesses which attended the Bolton and Bury Business Awards 2016 held at the Macron last week.
The awards may have gone to the eventual winners from three finalists but what is really worth celebrating is the genuine wealth of the business world locally.
You really don’t appreciate how many fantastic companies there are and what they are achieving until you hear about them. They don’t always make the headlines but they do add to our national commercial and industrial wealth, and bode well for the future.
