IT’S good news that more abusive domestic bullies than ever are being punished for their crimes.
The Crown Prosecution Service reveals that almost four in five defendants charged with rape, domestic abuse or a sexual offence in the North-west were sentenced in 2015/16.
The bad news is that similar individuals continue to beat and terrify women and children in the name of control. Only an understanding of what constitutes healthy relationships will help.Bolton’s Fortalice is, fortunately, at the forefront of teaching youngsters in schools just what this is.
