IT’S back – and I can’t wait to see Claude Littner demolishing those over-confident, over-paid and wildly over-optimistic candidates in The Apprentice.
Yes, another batch of candidates vying for a chunk of Lord Alan Sugar’s money, and most of his patience returns tonight. But, while the good Lord gets bad-tempered with the inevitable shortcomings of the 18 candidates with their eyes on the £250,000 prize, cool-hand Claude is just waiting to demolish them with well-chosen words and a steely look.
Claude, the ice to Baroness Karren Brady’s honey, is one of Alan Sugar’s two sidekicks who monitor the candidates through their various tasks and report back.
He is cold, analytical and terrifying. When he was one of the final assessors of the candidates’ business plans, you knew he was going to take them apart.
The unrealistic, the exaggerators, the bullies and the totally deluded became putty in his hands.,and left his office drained, devalued and definitely dizzy. Oh, the joy of it! Just carry on keeping them in order, Claude
