THERE’S something innately pleasing about seeing and smelling a newly-mown grass lawn, isn’t there?
And Lostock man Keith Chuck’s garden offers one of the finest examples. His luscious lawn has been judged a prize-winner after he took the Britain’s Best Lawn 2016 title.
He grew up with only a tiny lawn so his large garden became his “indulgence”. He enlisted turf expert Danny Hibbert who now lavishes his expertise on the lawn. Congratulations to both – a lawn is so quintessentially English that it’s great to know the country’s best is made in Bolton.
