COMPANIES in the Bolton area seldom make news’ headlines simply for being good at business.
However, when a local firm nets a £11 million deal it’s definitely worth shouting about.
Medical manufacturers Vernacare, which provide a waste management system used by most of the UK’s hospitals and 48 other countries, have just clinched a multi-million pound trade deal between Bolton and India, unveiled by the Prime Minister no less.
This is a cause for local pride and celebration.
Not only is the town’s reputation raised across the world but back home jobs are more secure. Congratulations are due all round.
