I’M joining a group of my fellow rounders’ players from Darcy Lever Cricket and Social Club in Bolton Hospice’s Midnight Memories Walk this month.
We’re taking part in memory of our friend Anita Jones, a talented player and a lovely woman, who died last year in the hospice after a lengthy illness.
We know it will be both a sad and an uplifting occasion and that we’ll be among the many there with their own reasons for taking part. It doesn’t matter why, just that we’re all helping the hospice to help others.
