A HUGE “well done” to Bolton builders Seddon.
They have just written off more than £270,000 which a children’s hospice in Radcliffe owed them for alteration and refurbishment of the Dumers Lane property.
Grace’s Place, based at the former Bury Hospice site, had been due to open in 2014 but faced several setbacks and fell badly into debt. Now, due to the generosity of Seddon, the hospice is ready to open its doors to children with life-limiting illnesses.
Seddon director Keith Waddington insisted that providing this vital care facility “was the most important thing to us.” That’s wonderful to hear.
