IT’S 10 years since the controversial smoking ban came in affecting public buildings, pubs, clubs and workplaces.
It’s completely understandable that some people miss being able to smoke in the pub particularly but for many more of us it was a blessed relief.
I always hated it when people lit up in restaurants, blowing smoke in any direction they fancied.
And what was there to enjoy about drinking in a fog in the pub?
Sorry, I know this has hit the pub trade badly and that’s sad but I still think it’s one of the best ever pieces of legislation.
