IT’S entirely right that a scheme that has helped to reduce violent crime in Bolton town centre by almost a third has gained national recognition for its work.
Best Bar None was introduced in Bolton a year ago and is leading the way for the initiative in Greater Manchester. Around 20 town centre venues have signed up to the scheme of positive action and the effects have led to safer social experiences and a cut in violent crime.
Congratulations are due all round on this one. It’s s positive move in the right direction and deserves all the plaudits available.
