For the first time, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has suggested ways on how doctors can help patients stop smoking including advice on vaping.

Although the long-term goal is to get people to stop altogether, using e-cigs is definitely shown as a healthier alternative. They cause less damage to health than ordinary cigarettes and can lead to people quitting completely. And anything which helps do that has got to be a good idea today to cut health problems and help our cash-strapped NHS.
