IT may not be something everyone will want to hear but new Norwegian research proves that women really ARE better drivers.
A survey looked at the frequency and type of distractions drivers experienced and what their attitude towards them was. Older women were found to be much better at controlling their distractions and paying attention to the road ahead. Fiddling with the radio was the most common distraction.
Research shows distracted driving plays a part in at least 12 per cent of all car accidents globally. It’s important to be reminded of the need for concentrated driving, whoever you are.
