IT is my worst nightmare that the bus service 537 is being scrapped.

For three years I have been getting this bus from Blackburn Road to get to Bromley Cross for work. It is a 10-minute walk from Halliwell Road where I live to get to this stop.

I now have two options — leave home an hour early and catch the 541 into the town centre or catch any bus from Ulswater Street and walk to work from Dunscar.

Many thanks to those honest Arriva drivers who gave me updates since I heard ‘rumours’about this bus. I feel very upset and angry, but what can we do? There have been no public petitions.

But there is no thanks to TFGM Committees who should have scrapped the 538 in order to keep the 537, a more suitable appropriate proposal.
