IT was interesting to read the article about the man who requested information on erecting poster on the roundabout and was refused the information.
Reason given: It would prejudice its commercial interests. It would appear that there is one rule for the large trader and one for the small.
This is not the first time I have heard of information being refused. During the run-up to the last local election, as a candidate, I requested certain information and was told the council did not run its accounting system in a manner that made the information I requested available, so they could not fulfil my request.
Perhaps I was not big enough either.
