WE are told if we leave the EU it will be bad for trade. Rubbish.

We are as an important customer to Europe as they are to us, and a free trade agreement would be reached with those countries who want to sell goods to the UK and reciprocated. So that argument is off the table.

It is better to be part of a big gang for security. Well I hope we are not thinking that Germany or France would support us?

This week we have seen Germany and France wanting to brush the MH17 incident under the carpet and today it is relegated to the inside pages of the papers.

If there was ever a world war, Germany would side with Russia in a heartbeat and France would follow.

So, no unity there.

So trade and security, the two main arguments, are off the table. Better we continue our relationship with America, a nation we are much more aligned to culturally.

Finally, to the guy who told us to stop buying vodka. If you look into the main investors in oil, banking and major services, Russia’s fingers reach much further than having a tipple.

We would basically have to stop world trade in every nation.
