WE witnessed a frightening episode in Moss Bank Park on Thursday evening.
Two women were lying on the grass relaxing and reading when two stocky, wild dogs sped towards them with their mouths open. The women were obviously scared and huddled together screaming waiting for the attack.
The owner casually walked up and told them to shut up.
The women politely told the owner they were scared and she should keep them on a lead. She screamed at them that it was a public park and they if they were afraid of dogs they shouldn't come. Her language was atrocious.
Do take care if you take your children into the park, there are many dogs running wild without leads or responsible owners.
