IT is no wonder that David Cameron has rushed through the sale of licences for gas and oil fracking in the UK.

I guess he must think that people are not aware of the recently published report on fracking from the US.

This report outlines a number of findings, firstly that there is now 280 billion gallons of toxic poisonous water generated by fracking, enough to put the entire area of Washington under 22 feet of water.

It also states that the results from toxicologist David Brown’s research is that there are many cases of different illnesses being dealt with by medical centres that are close to fracking sites.

The report also states that over 360,000 acres of land that has been fracked is now degraded and will be polluted for decades to come. The only people who will tell you that fracking is safe are the people who profit from it.

With more and more countries banning fracking, the UK is set to be the caveman that is left behind whilst other countries generate energy from renewable resources.
