I WOULD like to say a big thank you to all those in Bolton Council’s Sport and Active Living Department who organised the recent sports taster day in Victoria Square.
It provided a great opportunity to see many different sports and it was especially pleasing to see that there is a way to take part in sport and physical activity whatever your abilities.
I would, therefore, urge everyone to take the plunge this summer and don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
Bolton Council and Bolton Disability Sports Association are working hard on your behalf to make it as easy as possible to take part.
I look forward to seeing you at events across the district, from Boccia at Castle Hill, to disability tennis at Bolton Arena, archery at Bolton Lads and Girls Club and wheelchair racing at Leverhulme Park.
