I HAVE just been to Westhoughton Library to see the WW1 exhibition.
It is very moving and impressive and shows that a tremendous amount of research has gone into it.
The displays are first class. There are lists of the soldiers involved, contributions from letters sent home from the soldiers and letters sent to them from loved ones, and so much information for all to see.
To complement this, Pam Clark and the committee have written a book with all the displayed information in it which is to be published if enough people are willing to buy it. It’s a must for all people who have lost loved ones in that terrible war .
