IT’S so good to see Peter Kay’s hit TV comedy series Phoenix Nights returning after a 15 year break.
Two live Manchester Arena shows will raise money for Comic Relief next year and tickets are sure to go like hot cakes.
Set in a working men’s club in Farnworth, it spawned a rich streak of comedy that not only introduced us to brilliant comic actors like Patrick McGuinness, Dave Spikey, Archie Kelly and Justin Moorhouse but to some of the best and most surreal Northern comedy around.
Please bring it back to TV – we need something to really laugh about.
