IT’S all very well American researchers saying that there is no such thing as “baby brain” and claiming their studies were carried out to boost the confidence of mothers-to-be.
But what else would they prefer was blamed when concentration is a struggle and formerly analytical brains just seem to regularly turn to mush?
The researchers felt that expecting to suffer from the alleged non-condition as stereotypes was the problem. But if they’d ever tried the all-encompassing routine of looking after a new baby I reckon none of them would have had time for a cuppa let alone for doing research.
