The Muppets and Warburtons team up for a Giant Crumpet fluffy masterpiece of an advert
IT’S no surprise that Warburtons’ TV advert featuring the Muppets has been declared the most successful Christmas ad of 2015.
Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and pals – and, of course, Jonathan Warburton and the giant crumpet – beat such highly favoured ads as John Lewis’s Man on the Moon and Sainsbury’s popular Mog’s Christmas Calamity.
The Warburtons’ ad is definitely more of a show than a straightforward advert – with singing, dancing, humour and good taste in every sense of the word. It’s brought joy and fun to Christmas, and that’s more than you can say for some of the scheduled TV programmes.
