IT doesn’t matter how good a TV programme is if you can’t hear it properly.
I’m not talking here about personal hearing problems but about mumbling actors, or the producers who mess about with sound levels and quality somehow believing this is an artistic approach - think Happy Valley.
Now, experts are apparently blaming the problem on the poor in-built sound quality in flatscreen TVs, or on incorrect TV tuning.
Personally, I think it’s down to a luvvie approach to entertainment and what those involved in making programmes believe the masses should really accept. Look, just speak up and turn the sound up. Simples.
