IT’S all very well adopting an easygoing stance on re-touching photos if you are a famous movie star but the rest of us face real-life problems.
Helen Mirren has said she insisted on her advertising shots for L’Oreal beauty products remaining untouched but says she’s not bothered about film posters getting airbrushed.
Frankly, if us ordinary folk’s photos were airbrushed, the shock of meeting the real thing might prove just too much. I’m sure it happens on pictures on dating sites but it’s a mistake – honesty and natural looks are probably always the best policy when it comes to photos.
