THE Cumbrian dad who took matters into his own hands when his two children were consistently bullied has all my sympathy.
Unfortunately, Christopher Cooper landed himself in court after confronting the bullying 10-year-old boy and telling him off. Mr Cooper felt police and the school were not acting after his son and daughter regularly suffered at the bully’s hands.
Now, he also has to go before a Nursing and Midwifery Council disciplinary hearing and his job is in jeopardy. The bully’s parents gave him abuse, no-one seemed to act to protect his children. Frankly, what else could he do?
