SUPPORT for cancer sufferers and their families is vital.
So it’s wonderful news that Bolton has gained yet another support service with the launch of the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
This is the third local facility, along with a service at Bolton One and another at Giles House at Bolton Hospice. It’s something long campaigned for, and with good reason. Patients and their families need places to meet other sufferers and to get individual support.
It’s part of the sort of services you would expect from a caring town.
