IF ever a life was lived to the full it was Zonya Marsh’s.
This mother of four was involved with amateur dramatics groups and produced pantos, was a community nurse working at several schools and trained as a health visitor.
In retirement, she retained her theatre interests, became a champion of older people’s rights and helped set up and run Bolton Over Fifties Federation. She was a finalist in the Woman of the Year awards and received a Rotary Club award.
She has died at the age of 81 but leaves a full and lasting legacy which is timeless.
