IF the drama series Trust Me is anything to go by, we are in for a treat when Jodie Whittaker takes over her role as the new Doctor Who.
Purists were a bit sniffy about the 35-year-old actress becoming the first female Time Lord in Dr Who’s long history in spite of a track record of noteworthy performances particularly in hit series Broadchurch.
She has just, though, finished starring in the excellent Trust Me where she played a nurse impersonating a doctor and it’s plain the Yorkshire lass is excellent - quite mesmerising on screen, in fact. Daleks watch out!
