BOLTON is home to a group of people who are improving their life by singing. They are members of the Bolton Cancer Voices and they are celebrating their five years as a choir. It was started by Karen Elliott who continues to run it and comprises cancer patients and survivors.
It’s wonderful to hear them – uplifting and entertaining. And I can recommend their annual festive singalong at the Victoria Hall on Saturday, December 2 in conjunction with the Greater Manchester Police Band. The life-changing power of music in general and singing in particular remains truly wonderful.
