I REALLY don’t understand anyone who doesn’t celebrate the fact that global tech giant Amazon is moving into the giant Logistics North site in Over Hulton.

The fact that the world’s largest internet retailer will create at least 1,200 new jobs is reason to rejoice. The whole Logistics North site is a huge success story and a cause for congratulation to all involved in bringing it into Bolton’s boundaries, whatever their role or interest.

It means more jobs, more wealth and more profile for this area which, in these troubled times, is rare, positive news and a cause for joy.
