MARKS & Spencer shareholders accused the firm of failing older women who wanted to wear chic clothes as online sales slump. Worse, I went into Middlebrook’a M & S with a £40 gift voucher recently and couldn’t find anything at all I liked among frumpy styles and unflattering material, so I spent it on food. How sad is that!
