IT was good to see that the tennis courts at Moss Bank Park in Bolton have had a face-lift.
The four courts were getting very tired looking but now new nets, fencing and floodlights have been installed and the concrete has been re-surfaced and re-painted.
There is a community tennis programme organised there and, when I passed at the weekend, the courts were full of all ages running about and enjoying themselves.
Tennis is a very accessible sport and Moss Bank is one of our best-used parks so it was excellent thinking to brighten up the courts there and give sport a genuine boost for all.
