BNP nothing to do with us
THE Bolton Against the Bedroom Tax Campaign notes that the BNP voiced its opposition to the “bedroom tax” in a recent letter.
Our campaign wishes to point out that, while the BNP is free to offer its opinions on the matter, Bolton Against the Bedroom Tax shares none of the BNP’s political views.
Bolton Against the Bedroom Tax campaigns on behalf of all members of our community. It regards the BNP’s intervention on the issue as politically opportunistic.
The misery inflicted on people by the Coalition’s austerity measures, of which the bedroom tax is part, does not discriminate on grounds of colour, ethnicity or religion; neither does our campaign.
