IN May, UKIP posed a good question: What good is an immigration policy if you don’t control your borders?
Being in the EU means we have open borders with 450 million people.
With Europe either in an economic funk or still recovering from the trauma of communism, unsurprisingly many people are exercising their right to come and settle in the UK at an alarming rate and with clear consequences for social provision.
Whilst up to now many people have supported our membership, it has to be said the benefits are diminishing and we think it’s time you had your say.
With much of Europe heading towards political union, it is time for a national debate and to decide whether membership is any longer in our national interest.
If the Conservatives win the election in May, 2015, we will let you decide. We are pledged to try and negotiate a better deal, but whatever the outcome it will be up to you whether we stay in or not.
The Euro fanatics took over the Labour Party a long time ago and they do not want you to have your say. They would rather the elites of politics decided these matters. We think the stakes are now too high and the time is right for the British to decide on this crucial subject. The Conservative trust the British people on this one. How typical that the modern Labour Party doesn’t.
