Thanks for ‘saving’ bus
THANK you for printing my letter of June 20 regarding the proposed axing of the 480 Bolton to Bury bus service through Affetside.
Happily this is not going to happen for now and the route, although reduced, will still be operational.
It is good to see that local opinion has been taken into account and the publicity your paper has given to this cause has undoubtedly helped, along with the tireless work of the Affetside Society and local councillors.
