Courts need real teeth
I ENTIRELY agree with Brian Derbyshire’s letter: “Why crime seems to pay” (July 11).
It’s time our courts had some real teeth.
How can someone rob the state of £30,000 and then in court they are simply told: “Please go away and don’t be naughty again.”
How pathetic.
