NAME and address supplied, September 6, complains about there being no floral displays in Breightmet.
He/she should catch the 562 bus at Morrisons.
Just a few hundred yards along Breightmet Fold Lane is a huge display of multi-coloured blooms, two feet tall, dancing on the breeze.
Up the hill, in Kentmere Road, they will find another spectacular display of these beautiful blooms, opposite the shops.
In Padbury Way, on the corner of Greenroyd Avenue, more multi-coloured blooms are in evidence and, in Ribchester Grove, I can look out of my window on to a sea of colour, where last year there was only grass.
Going along Padbury Way, two smaller oases brighten up the area and, as the bus turns into Winchester Way, there on the right, in Thicketford Brow, is yet another huge splash of colour.
These fields of flowers have been a huge success. Many thanks to all concerned.
