LIKE a pathetic, irresponsible parent, promising a naughty child expensive toys if they behave, Cameron promised the Scots things this country can ill-afford, to get them to stay in the Union.
And guess what? Now the other children — ie Wales, Northern Ireland, and regions of England —are throwing their toys out of the play-pen, demanding bigger and better ones, just like their naughty sibling has been promised.
We have barely struggled out of a very long recession, and are still suffering from the effects of severe government cuts, yet Cameron and Co can promise Scotland huge rewards for voting no.
Scotland wisely voted for a united UK. We now need to get back to how it used to be. A UK governed by a UK government, in Westminster.
Every Brit in Great Britain must be treated alike, be they English, Welsh, Northern Irish, or Scottish.
We need re-union, not devolution.
Only then can we really be a United Kingdom.
