An old Air Italy fuselage transformed into a restaurant (Bolton News October 23 ) "having the potential to regenerate" an area of Deane Road. I think not. Oh that it were so simple council officer Jeanette Isherwood! It will take a good deal more than that to regenerate this particular area. It needs the residents and the shopkeepers of the surrounds to pull their communal socks up and sweep (but more importantly remove) the rubbish scattered about the streets. It looks like no-man's-land around this part of Deane Road and needs more than a worn-out Boeing to put things right.
